Chablis far outstrips anything else you all order at Whitfield Wines.  I am hoping that part of that is the quality of wines that we sell, but I know also you adore the complex minerality, steely acidity and mesmerising finish you can experience with proper Chablis.  The epitome of elegance. 

Stocks of great Chablis are always under pressure and wine from good domaines will be tough to come by, with prices to match that shortage. Spring frosts often add to the shortage picture as global warming has led to less predictable growing seasons. 

Confusingly though, there is alot of average Chablis on the market as well, trading off the name recognition, so it pays to be selective. This is where we can help.
