What is Whitfield Wines?

Whitfield Wines is an online wine boutique curated by seasoned restaurant professional, Ben Whitfield. You’ll find a personal selection of my favourite wines from the restaurant world, allowing you to discover and savour exceptional quality restaurant wines in the comfort of your home.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, Whitfield Wines delivers exclusively within the UK; however, we are actively working to expand our shipping services internationally in the near future. To stay updated on our wines, stories, and upcoming global delivery options, subscribe to our newsletter.

Order & Payment

How do I place an order?

Browse our selection of restaurant wines, add your desired wines to your cart, and follow the checkout process. You will need to create an account or log in, provide your shipping information, and complete payment to finalise your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay), express checkout services, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Apple Pay. All payments are processed using encrypted technology to ensure your data is safe.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

Our minimum order is a case of 6 bottles. To achieve the best prices, we do not offer mixed cases. 

For all orders nationally including in London, we apply a delivery charge of £10 +VAT

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Yes, please just reach out on email if you have a change of heart up to 3 days after your order.  If you have already received the wine, unfortunately shipping costs will need to be  covered, and the funds will be returned only on safe receipt of the wine. 

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Please note that at Whitfield Wines, we operate on a batch delivery system. Deliveries are generally made within 5 working days from the placing of the order.  Any changes to delivery times we will keep you informed or if you have any queries please contact us. 

Do you offer express shipping?

If you have a specific date for the wine delivery, please email and I will endeavour to meet your deadline.

Can I track my order?

As soon as your order is on its way, you will be contacted by the courier. Do email with any other queries.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

If you have any bottles that are corked or tainted, please contact me by email about replacement.

We offer returns on wines up to 10 days from date of receipt. All transit costs will need to be covered by the customer and a refund can only be made when the wines are returned.

 Wine Selection

How do you choose the wine for Whitfield Wines?

All the wines on the Whitfield Wines website are selected and tasted by me. The vast majority of the wines are on popular restaurant wine lists around London (and sometimes in Europe) and offer a combination of great value for money and customer appeal. 

There is a reason they are on the wine list – sommeliers have selected from many different examples of the wine and feel sure that customers will enjoy the wine as a fine example of its kind.

Can you help me choose a wine?

Yes, please do not hesitate to be in touch.  We can also help source a wine you have loved at a restaurant recently!  Just ask on ben@whitfieldwines.com 

Do you offer organic or biodynamic wines

We do offer low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines.  Please look for the classification on the specific wine listing.

Wine Subscriptions & Gifting

Do you offer wine subscriptions?

Yes, please do look for the subscription button on some of the wines. 

Can I send wine as a gift?

Yes, please indicate it is a gift on check out.
