A versatile and approachable Chenin Blanc, this wine beautifully showcases its Loire Valley origins. Jérémie Huchet demonstrates his appreciation for the Chenin Blanc grape through this vibrant and refreshing creation.
“Chapeau”, French for “hat” symbolises a gesture of admiration and respect, suitably reflecting the winemaker's tribute to both the grape and the craftsmanship behind this bottle.
Lively and crisp, this wine offers a vibrant balance of fruity acidity, delicate white floral aromas, and wet stone minerality. Its refreshing acidity is complemented by forward flavours of grapefruit, ripe pear, and quince, leading to a lingering zestiness with a subtle hint of honey — a charming summer holiday out in nature.
Jérémie Huchet took over his family’s wine estate in 2001, building on a legacy established by his great-grandfather, Constant Huchet, founding Domaine de la Chauvinière in 1946. Under Jérémie’s leadership, he has transformed the family wine business, and is renowned for revitalising Muscadet production in the Loire Valley.
