Originally from Australia, Mark Haisma relocated to France in 2007 after spending a decade as a winemaker at Yarra Yering in Victoria's Yarra Valley. Driven by a passion to pursue his own winemaking vision, he settled in Burgundy, where he quickly gained recognition from top wine critics, earning a place among the "Top 25 Burgundy Producers to Watch.” Without a vineyard or winery of his own to inherit or manage, Haisma embraced the micro-négociant model, renting cellar space and sourced grapes from trusted growers, collaborating closely with them to produce wines that authentically express the character of their terroir.
