The Massolino Langhe Nebbiolo 2022 delivers Barolo-style elegance in a more relaxed, approachable way. Made with the same care as their top wines, it captures Nebbiolo’s signature depth and character, but in a softer, earlier-drinking style. It's well-loved by critics and strikes a great balance between complexity and drinkability—perfect for everything from a casual dinner to a special occasion. Best enjoyed now with some decanting, or cellar until 2026–30 to develop deeper complexity.

Elegant and approachable, this lighter Nebbiolo offers bright red fruit—raspberry, cherry, and strawberry—layered with violet, anise, and subtle balsamic and forest notes. Fresh acidity and fine-grained, chalky tannins give structure, leading to a long, perfumed, mineral-tinged finish. This is a Barolo-like finesse in a more fruit-forward style.

Founded in 1896 in Serralunga d’Alba, Massolino has remained family-run for four generations. Early innovations included building the first cellar in 1934 and co-founding the Barolo & Barbaresco Consortium. The estate later secured top crus like Margheria, Parafada, and Vigna Rionda. In the 1990s, brothers Franco and Roberto modernised the winery while honouring tradition.

Today, Massolino crafts everything from approachable Langhe Nebbiolo to age-worthy, single-vineyard Barolos, all showcasing Serralunga’s depth and elegance.
