The Fleur de Savagnin, Domaine Perrin, Côtes du Jura is an elegant, highly textural white wine produced from 40-year-old Savagnin vines. Sustainably farmed on blue marl and limestone soils, it delivers a precise, vibrant expression of the Jura region’s signature grape.
Based in the Vignoble de Vernantois, a small and quietly emerging enclave within the Côte du Jura, Domaine Christophe et Yoann Perrin is one of just three producers working in the village. The domaine includes eight hectares of marl and limestone soils, an environment that brings both structure and salinity to the wines, alongside the freshness typical of the region’s cool, continental climate.
The wines show a distinctive interplay between Jura typicity and a more polished, finely tuned expression: bright, savoury and textural, yet marked by a clarity and elegance that continues to evolve under Yoann’s direction.
Nose: Pure, expressive aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and white orchard fruit, complemented by subtle floral nuances of lime blossom and chamomile.
Palate: Finely textured and elegant. Savory, with a distinctive saline drive and a gentle, nutty complexity.
Finish: Long, fresh, and lightly structured with a bright mineral lift.
