It’s a light wine that surprises with its depth and complexity. Vibrant acidity brings bright red fruits of cherries, cranberries, and strawberries to the forefront, while earthy, herbal, and stony nuances add layers of intrigue, supported by delicate, well-integrated tannins.

Founded in 1842 by Dutch merchant Eduard Kebe, the company soon became a joint venture with Francois Marius Niepoort, who later took full control. Francois passed the business to his son, Eduard Niepoort, who focused on producing fine Port wines. By the time the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort, took the reins, the portfolio had expanded to include dry table wines crafted from native Portuguese grape varieties.   

Today, Dirk Niepoort and the sixth generation—Daniel, Marco, and Ana Niepoort—work together to innovate and grow the family business.
