Michel Delhommeau farms 25 ha in the commune of Monnières, just south of Nantes, where the soils are predominantly gabbro and gneiss, unlike much of Muscadet which is dominated by granite. There is a real breadth to the palate and richness to the fruit that marks it apart from its peers and we heartily recommend this as a Whitfield Wines 'House wine'.
