With the hint of warmer air being very much on its way, a long weekend in the offing and generally being a lovely time of year to drink something elegant and moreish, I thought I should share some effllorescent, lissome and sapid wine ideas with you quick sharp (forgive my silly adjectives, it's been a long week).

 

Two white wines - Custoza from Veneto and Baudana's infamous 'Dragon' from Piedmont - and a brace of exceedingly ethereal and savoury Nebbiolos from Langhe feel about right.

 

Subject to stocks lasting, I should be able to get these over to you in time for the long weekend.
